The fabric I am using to make our stockings arrived yesterday...
I LOVE it...it is from reprodepot, of course...they just began carrying a line of really gorgeous German Westfalenstoffe fabric. Now I just have to figure out how to make a stocking...ha!

That is stunning fabric - I adore it :)

I read your post + jumped over to reprodepot + ordered from this line- you have a dangerous blog. (actually, they have a dangerous site!)
have a great night, enjoy the warmer weather.

This is all photographed so nicely and they are beautiful! The dark letter is a bit incongruous, though. I would use the contrasting red fabric (with vintage buttons, of course!). You could sew it on with visible red or white stitches. But then you're also talking to someone who wants to paint her ceiling orange...

By 'contrasting red fabric' I meant the fabric that is the main body of the stocking.

So pretty! I agree with the above comment. The letter is great; but adding flair to it would make it even better....I was imagining a small felt "holly" coming off the side of the letter or something like that. I'd love to have a stocking like yours! Good for you on taking on the task of making your stockings!
